October is National Principals Month

It’s National Principals Month and we want you to help us celebrate Huron School District Principals! E-cards are available that you can send, as well as ideas for planning a celebration over at www.principalsmonth.org. NASSP, NAESP, and ASFA is also hosting a student video contest, which invites students to make one-minute videos that talk about why they love their principal. Spread the word about the contest—winning schools receive a $200 gift card! See the contest rules at www.principalsmonth.org. The deadline for entries is October 5, 11:59 p.m. (ET).

Huron School District Bond Issue Community Input Forum

Attention Parents and Community Members: The Huron School District is exploring the pursuit of a bond issue renewal. We are looking for input from our community members as a part of this process. On September 25, from 5:30-6:30 pm, we will be meeting in the High School Media Center to discuss the needs of the district as we gather input from the members of our community, and you are invited.
